The Scottish Deerhound: A Gentle Soul

Similar to the Greyhound in temperament, the Scottish Deerhound is a gentle giant with a surprisingly quiet nature. Bred for hunting deer, they are now valued as companions. They are generally relaxed and affectionate, and they don’t tend to bark excessively. Scottish Deerhounds require ample exercise and benefit from having a large, fenced yard.
