Meet Buddy!

Buddy is a handsome, two-year-old Labrador Retriever mix. He boasts a beautiful, short, and sleek black coat with a touch of white on his chest. Weighing in at around 60 pounds, he’s the perfect size for cuddles on the couch or energetic adventures in the park. He’s neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on all his vaccinations and deworming. We have all of his medical records available for review.

Buddy’s Personality

Buddy is a real sweetheart. He’s incredibly friendly and affectionate, always eager to greet you with a wagging tail and a happy bark. He loves to play fetch, go for walks, and simply be near his humans. He’s a quick learner and already knows basic commands like sit, stay, come, and down. He’s also house-trained and crate-trained. While he loves attention, he also understands personal space and is content to relax by your side.

He gets along well with other dogs after a proper introduction, although his high energy might be overwhelming for older, less active dogs. We recommend a meet-and-greet if you have existing pets. He’s been around children and is gentle and patient, but we always advise supervision, especially with very young children. We are unsure how he reacts to cats.

Why Buddy Needs a New Home

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances and a significant change in our work schedule, we can no longer provide Buddy with the time, attention, and exercise he needs. It breaks our hearts to part with him, but we believe he deserves a home where he can thrive. We are committed to finding him the perfect family.

What We’re Looking For

We are searching for a loving and responsible owner who can provide Buddy with a safe and stable environment. This includes:

A home with a fenced yard or access to a secure outdoor space for play.
Daily exercise and mental stimulation, such as walks, runs, or playtime.
Consistent training and socialization.
Plenty of love, attention, and companionship.
A commitment to providing Buddy with proper veterinary care throughout his life.

Rehoming Fee

We are asking for a rehoming fee of $200 to help cover some of the costs associated with his care and to ensure he goes to a serious and committed owner. This fee is negotiable for the right family.
